  • 2:15 am hand. I'm not betting OOP with a mediocre flush draw into that many players. You are just building the pot for someone with a better draw. Check and try to get to showdown for cheap. He raised you on the flop, you didn't suddenly suck out on him on the turn. Fold. Just look at the bets Sandro made, he nicely chopped up his stack, virtually committing you on the river.
  • i like this idea. i wouldn't mind doing it myself just to get some feedback. also, i'd love for one of our MTT beasts to do this as well. i think both would be great learning tools.
  • Those last two hands were horribad. As soon as the hand was over, I was like, OMG, now I have to post it.

Appreciate any and all comments though.
  • meh you go with your read. the jam looks like a busted flush push but the problem is (re: my comments above about jamming the high straight) it's also a great jam when you hope someone will stack off with the other 10.

A question I always ask myself is: do I need to win this pot to win the tournament? If the answer is no, then I look to fold.

It looks like you were trying to get to showdown cheap and then threw that plan away when the villain didn't play ball on the river.

If you really felt you were good you could have thrown out a river blocking bet of 750 or so because only a suicidal maniac is going to raise on the river with less than a 10 in his hand.
