HUD/Opting In Question

I don't have HUD and am pretty ignorant on the subject.

I have not opted in to any stat sites and I'm curious to know what stats if anything I am actually preventing opponents who are running HUD from seeing.

If they are running a HUD in Poker Tracker or HEM, then opting in does not change anything.
They can see stats on hands they played against you.

The tracking sites track games played and amounts won/lost. They do not tack hands.

HUDS like Hobbes said usually refer to a display of hands you have actually played with your opponents.



But here is the sharkscope hud too, that opts you in for people seeing a detailed analysis of your success in games.

I can get a good picture of your poker strategy if I know if you are in the positives overall, whether you are break even or losing, played 50k games, played only 400 games etc.

If I know your average finishing positions in a 180 man sit and go, I might learn you tighten up extra around the bubbles, or you are too loose at the final table and bust early too much etc.



It will serve you better to give those players access to that info, in trade for your own access to learn what these things are by trying to apply them yourself.
