sure
gl sir
Thank you twitter for letting me beat the twit!
Will ship Stars tonight.
As long as the Jews let it through.
Ran 12k upto 40k+ at first break, which was good for one of the bigger stacks.
After dinner, didn't go so well.
The big hand that went bad......
Raise at 400/800 UTG+1 with KKds to 2.1k (40k back)....flatted by both blinds, SB is pretty good TAG, he won a WSOPC and VDE events in the same week in Feb(25K back) and BB is someone u wish there were 8 more of at your table (15k back)
Flop Qd5d3h, checked to me, I c-bet to 3.7k, SB min clicks back to 7.4k, BB folds. I put his range somewhere on Adxd, AQ, KQ, 3's and 5's. I decide to shove to protect against flush draw......he shows QQ....turned a Td for some outs, but bricked river.
Ended the day by open shoving Q4dd on the button when folded to me for 9bb, BB wakes up with JJ and gg us.
#2 and the big one tomorrow....pretty sure I got it locked up.
Actually started with a full 15k stack, as they left my chips in the tray (rungood over after this).
Called to see a few flops which gave me nothing, was down to about 12.5k.
Pick up AK in the cutoff, with there being a raise (850) and call allready, I 3-bet to 2.5k (blinds 150/300), original raiser calls (a known fish). Flop comes down Q53 rainbow. He checks to me, I eye his stack thinking he's missed this flop more often than not, he's got about 5k. With the pot bloated (oops), I decide on a pot committing bet of 3.2k.......he tanks forever, and ships for 1.8k more and shows TT. And I obviously brick.
Next hand played, I'm in the SB with AQ.....cutoff (15K) opens for 800, button (12k) flats....I jam 4k. Original raiser tank folds.........button snaps about 9.5 seconds quicker than Bolt will be running the 100.......she shows 99, and proceeds to beg the dealer incessantly for another 9. No karma gods slap the beeatch, and I'm sent to the rail.
Basically I got involved in 2 pots, lost them both and left before dinner break.
Sorry guys, one more chance to get it back.

There's no consistency to this?
I should clarify, normally, I would have stopped in early to get my seating card, but I didn't have time yesterday.
Had I done that, my chips would have been out and blinded off.
When I got there, I was treated like a new entry with new seat and brand new stack. I was preregistered, but without a seating card.
I believe this is consistent.
Why you hate Yellowhead so much?
Corey, if you see any results that have last names, mind grabbing? Guess Jerome and McClean had deep runs yesterday, dont know how it ended but 2nd and 4th at least.
Not sure how that is hate. Fair question. Have to think by now that there is a consistent way as to how late reg stacks are handled. YH will have more questions than most casinos here because they simply hold more events. I don't think I've ever mention anything that wasn't an honest opinion or question.
If casinos want to run better tournaments, I would suggest that they would like to hear customer feedback.
Let me rephrase.
You appear to have a lot of complaints about Yellowhead, but would it be fair to say that some are pretty standard for Alberta poker?
I began to "assume" you arent happy with them when you said their structure was too good. While I aggree, it should be a two day if it has to run till 9 am, but on the other hand, if a player has to put in a whole 18 hours to make a middle class working salary, aweee
Poker used to be such a more rugged game....
YH/Argyll have held a lot of tournament series successfully. I'm not happy or unhappy with some of the ways the events are held. I realize that you can't change everything and that some things won't ever change. I post these opinons and comments in case staff ever reads it, they can get a players prospective of the playing experience.
I also wouldn't say the structure is too good. The way I view it is that the structure is far from ideal for an one day event.
Regina is very similar to YH in terms of player meals, structure etc, but they are just a little bit better, add a "souvineer" and get better numbers with less rake.
Winnipeg, now trumps Regina, in terms of attendance anyway and it seems their winners prizzing (tophy, watch, ring or whatever) is on par with Alberta's better casinos, which, YH is prob the best for tournaments and consistency in attendance.
Ontario, don't really like what I hear about Fallsview, def not a fane of Seneca after Kerr got taxed on BI for a $495 cash...but I can't deny their population and size. GBH seems to keep players reasonably happy.
Montreal, yes cash game rakes are high, but their promotions and comps trump everywhere else, so that balances a bit IMO.
Vancouver, obv BCPC is the most well balanced for numbers, structure, consistency, never heard a single good thing about cash games during though. The rakes for WSOPC are terrible, I doubt anything short of main will have that impressive of a structure to justify... anyone else tried this they get insta-crusified. Those some spensive rings.....
This please
Bustout hand was AT in the SB, called buttons shove with 8bb's and lost the flip to 33 (3 in the window obv). I probly bust the hand regardless, BB folded 88, and was likely to call my shove.
I was happy with my play this time, managing to stay afloat despite a lack of cards in the final couple hours.
Thanks for the investments as always gentleman, probly gonna have to offer a negative markup next time.
