Jays Tickets in the Pokerstars VIP Store

Just got this email:

The VIP Store has just been stocked with tickets to the Sunday, August 19th [1:07pm] Toronto Blue Jays vs Texas Rangers baseball game. You can find them in the Sports --> Events section of the VIP Store. Available only to our SilverStar and above VIPs, the tickets are in the luxurious Summit Suite located on the 400 level of Rogers Centre. The Summit is equipped with plasma televisions, wireless internet, and different viewing areas that allow you to either mingle with fellow PokerStars VIPs or take in the action on the field. Included with the ticket is a lunch buffet and snacks. Beverages are not included, but there will be cash bars located in the Suite.

Tickets will be reserved under the name registered on your PokerStars account and can be picked up with photo I.D at the luxury suite entrance by Gate 13 on the Northwest side of the Rogers Centre. Up to four (4) tickets can be purchased per player. Please note that orders of more than four will result in additional tickets being canceled.

Price levels by VIP Status:

Supernova - 2,000 FPPs
PlatinumStar - 2,500 FPPs
GoldStar - 3,000 FPPs
SilverStar - 3,500 FPPs

    I assume so, if you get there if time!

    I will be at this game, albeit in Row 1 of the nosebleeds. If anyone is cashing in their FPPs, let me know!

    I THINK on average around 1 to 1.5 cents per fpp? Depends what you get obv, like online tournament tickets will obviously give you more per fpp vs. like cash redemption.

    Thanks. Might be down to buy some tickets off ppl who can't/don't wanna go if they're transferrable.

    Sounds like at least the redemption person will have to be there, and he/she can do whatever they please with the extras.

    asked if tickets were transferrable, this was their reply:
    Unfortunately, this isn't possible. The ticket(s) will be held at the Concierge desk by Gate 13 of the Rogers Centre on the day of the game for pick-up. The tickets will be reserved under the name registered on the PokerStars account that purchased them - photo I.D. is required.

    so, if say we order the tickets, we can get them (show ID, get the tickets etc) then just give them away, right?

    Hi guys,

    Once you pick up the tickets the day of the game, you are free to do as you please with them, though we hope you use them for yourself. Unfortunately we can't allow you to transfer them to friends beforehand and have to keep some consistency in that regard.

    Let me know if there's any other Jays Suite-related questions; I'll be checking back in tomorrow.

    If you want a 3rd ticket and are short on FPPs, you can email vipclub@pokerstars.com and we can give you an 'FPP loan'. We would debit funds from your account in exchange for the amount of FPPs you require to purchase the tickets. This is done at a rate of $0.025 per FPP. In the future once you've earned the previous amount of FPPs back, you can trade them back in for cash at the same rate.
