Bristol St. presents "The 2012 Badugi Championship" Wed, Aug 1st, 7pm

It is the stuff of legends. A format, to test the best of the very best. A format unlike any other. The 3rd event of the 2012 season... perhaps more prestigesous that any other.

(PS. If you've never played before the first couple blind levels will be gradual enough to get you used to it.)
The Bristol Street Nightclub and Casino presents...

:s::h: THE BRISTOL STREET 2012 BADUGI CHAMPIONSHIP :c::d:
Limit Triple Draw Badugi Tournament
Wednesday, Aug 1st - 7:00pm
(doors open at 6:30pm)

$20 Buy-in Freeze-out - 32 player max.

$$$ Pay-out $$$
1st place - 45%
2nd place - 25%
3rd place - 15%
4th place - 10%
5th place - 5%
(Note: Top 4 payout with less than 24 players, Top 3 with 16 or less)

Each player will receive 5000 chips for their $20 buyin. You are
eliminated from the tourney when you lose all your chips. The tourney
will not stop, except for short breaks, until one player holds all the
chips. That player will be declared the 1st place finisher. The last
player eliminated will be the 2nd place finisher, the second last
player eliminated will be the 3rd place finisher, etc..

Late players: If you know you're going to be late, please phone and a
seat and chips will be set out for you and you will post blinds and
fold until you arrive. Players that are late that haven't let me know
will give up their seat to the next player on the waiting list. If
there's no one left on the waiting list, late players may buy into the
tournament during the first level (20 minutes), but must immediately
post the big and small blind if the blinds have passed them.

Waiting List players: Players on the waiting list will fill no shows
at the start of the tournament to a maximum of 32. The remaining
players on the waiting list are alternates. During the first four
levels, when a player busts out, you have the option of joining the
tournament at that point with a starting chip stack.

The tournament will last approximately 5-6 hours. Seating is limited
to 32 players with alternates. (8 max tables) Please reserve your seat
in advance!! The final table will form with 8 players left.

Blind schedule, chip values, rules, etc, etc, will be posted in the thread beneath this.

As always, tournaments at Bristol Street are rake-free!!

Thanks for visiting the guide to Omaha Hi/Lo at PokerStars.

    lol and in.
  • In please.

    Jac
  • Me and Mario are in... I'm assuming Trevor too!

    Mark
  • yeah, I'm in.
  • Reeeeeaaally want to be in. Better "T" me for now though.
  • Sign me up please.
  • I'm in. Never played before but I usually pick up games quickly and I can always hope for beginner's luck!
  • I leave for my weekend long Stag the next morning. Put me down as tentative until I find a way to convince my fiance how my being away even more is a good thing for her.
  • Location?
  • Waterloo
  • sign me up
    thx
  • It appears my third draw has left me with Kc-Ks-Kd-Kh.

    I'm out. *sigh*
  • Damn it. I guess I have to back out. I have work commitments Tuesday night and I'm gone for my stag from Thursday until Sunday. I'm not getting a lot of traction convincing my fiance that I should spend my only free night for a week playing poker. I guess I'm not as charming and persuasive as I thought. You win this round non-selfish me.
  • A quick Monday bump for this Wednesday's Badugi tournament!
  • How many draws and how many at each table?
  • Im in sign me up plz
  • TwoThree Braad says he's in

    Mark
  • me please
  • Please add Jenn
  • It's limit, so it'll be 3 draws. (First 2 betting rounds the low limit, the last 2 the high limit.)

We'll stay at 8 per table, unless people think it's a better idea to go 6-max.

We are currently at 18, so if it stays that way, the tables will start 6 handed, anyways.

    Kinda pumped for this!! :)
  • Out. Have to work tomorrow night now. :(
  • Sorry, but I have to drop out too
  • Congrats to Peteski, who bested a field of 15 to become the 2012 Bristol Street Badugi Champion. With his second points finish of the season, Peteski is currently atop the Player of the Year race.

Rounding out the Top 3 payouts was ItsaMe in 2nd, and Big E in 3rd! Sadly, our bubble-boy was Moose, but the defending Player of the Year did pick up a couple more PoY points, to get him into the Top 10.
