Best online poker rooms as of late??

I'm originally from Chicago and used to play my fair share of online poker. Eventually the states banned this activity at all of the major poker rooms.
I'm now here in Waterloo and would like to start playing again. I play on party poker a little, but have never really loved it.

I like a large variety of games, qualifiers to events, but probably most importantly, lots of players, with the potential of large tourneys.

What's the hottest poker room these days? Where do you play??
