WSOP Limit structures and Bristol Feedback requested.
I really like what the WSOP is doing with their limit structures. (Repeating a certain level a number of times so that the level is actually meaningful.)
I recall running a Stud game a long, long time ago and the first 4 or so blinds levels were so low, that it really didn't matter if you played or not.
So, while I'm putting the pieces together to run a full Bristol Street season is 2013. (With practice events this year to see how the AC holds and perhaps try out a few practice events), here's my first draft of Limit structures for hold'em and stud type games.
Looking for input on how these may work. In both cases, assume a 5,000 chip starting stack, 20 min levels with a hopeful 5-6 hour runtime..
For Stud, the concept also always the "25" chip to be the lowest chip denomination. (For reference, I have my original Stud structure at the bottom of the post)

The betting limits for stud are even higher and there is an extra round of big bets!
Here is the structure for a 4500 starting stack. Way lower limits.

As per the above structure, the easiest way to stick to a 25 as your lowest denom for the early rounds is to use a button ante.

The early write up on the event mentioned that numerous players liked the meaningful blind structure for the first 4 hours. To be fair, this is for $15,000 in starting chips.
I like the idea of the button ante.
Thanks, Moose!
