27man SNGs
Can someone explain why I have not been playing these exclusively ?
Decided to grind some $7, 27man SNGs today. Got in 14 of them in 6 hours (I only play 4 at a time). Here are the results:
1st - 2
2nd - 1
3rd - 1
5th - 1
Won - $ 218.00
Profit - $120.00
ROI - 122%
I realize the sample size is very small, but it is a great start.

Your right sample size is too small, but its something to build on.
Think 90s are better are than 180s as far as payout spot ratio, it would be interesting to hear if anyone has run some math on best odds/ratio etc.
wtf is "payout spot ratio"??
do u mean pay structure?
Sort of. Couldn't think of way to say it. Not the paystructure itself obviously it's easier to figure out. 20% of field, 12% etc...and what spot what pays what percentage. As far as how many players you need to play for optimal ratio.
However, with that said, carry on an NM. Ignore my post.
i THINK I know what you are saying, but as far as sng's goes, the biggest key is VOLUME. With a decent sample size you can figure out true ROI, $$ per game and even $ per hour.
As per anything in poker, obviously the higher you finish the better for everything, however I would like to make an interesting point.
If you take away all the min cashes of all winning sng player's, most of them wouldn't be winning players any more
Think about that for a second. so the next time you are bummed with a min cash after having an ok stack going, think of how important it is just to even make the $ instead of bubbling.
I thought the same exact thing LOL :arghh:
just teasin ya jon ^-^

Here's the best part, I have 492 points in the Venus section of the Battle of the Planets, with 4 more games to go !! I am sitting 9th for the week but am only 56 points out of 1st place. That would pay a bonus of $500.

Well . . . everyone knows you cannot judge a book by it's cover. If the dog eats the whole book, it must be a good one. Worked for Super/System . . .
