but you should have registered already if you're planning on going. since they're already into a waiting list now.

I am forgetting some people I'm sure, and I probably am missing people who I didn't know were going in the first place. If you have posted anything on this forum prior to Feb. 3/05, and are planning to play in the event, please add your name to this list. I'll eventually PM everyone for their 'real' names so I can compare them with the tournament results.
rgspence, are any of your friends forum members, and if so, did they join before Feb. 3?
Thanks all.
The guy named Dead Money always gets left out, as no one thinks he has a chance!
Finished third in the last one. I may have a chance in this one.

Poker is one of those things that can make you very humble. When you think you are the cats ass, it will take you down very quickly.
I will try to play my best, the rest is up to the cards.

I was wondering if a few people wanted to collectively swap a few percent, in a pool. For example i'm willing to swap 15% or 10% into a pool with a few other forum members. Obviously the idea is to diversify the risk since you'll be putting that percentage of yourself into the pool and getting a relative chance at that back from the others contributing. In theory if 5-6 of us are participating, were any one of us to win the whole thing, the percentage pool may nearly cover the event.
So anyone interested?
Rob.
I would be interested in swapping off a small percentage with one or more players from this forum.
Not sure, but i would assume the restraunt at the casino does breakfast.
Actually, the casino provides a continental breakfast for all tournament players.
At the registration desk, there is coffee and pastries. I usually get there about 8:45/9:00 and just sit, relax and shoot the shit for a while. I would be up for a meet there, but a full breakfast is not for me.
What is your name(s), I will look for you.
Rob.
my name's Neil, in terms of finding me i'm not sure what i'll be wearing ... maybe i'll try something intimidating like dressing up as Genghis Khan, or maybe wear a speedo ... both likely to have the desired affect.

I'm thinking that if I leave here (downtown Toronto) at 8:20 or so I MIGHT not make it there by 9:30, which is when we're supposed to check in. This is obviously because of traffic, despite the fact that I'm actually driving away from Toronto when most people are driving towards it.
I'll probably leave my place at like 7:15, drive for 40 minutes, pull over, call in to Y108 from my cell, and carry on. Otherwise, I might miss the check-in time and with the big waiting list they'd probably be pretty willing to give my seat away.
sweet i live about 1:15 from the casino (if i drive like a maniac on the backroads 50 minutes maybe) So i'll listen to the interview on the way.
Btw for anyone driving to the casino, i might recommend a good back route to get there. Instead of taking the 401 or highway 7 across, drive up the 404 to bloomington and then drive across from there. the route has little traffic and except for a few spots where it does get down to one lane you should be in great shape ... plus you can avoid the guranteed congestion on the 401.
oh and unfortunatly aces, i guess i know you also
all_aces is lying. I don't know him, hes just name-dropping to increase his rep.
don't you hate that, it's like three days ago when i was giving phil hellmuth these tips on his heads-up play ....
But he's only sixteen, he don't have a rep yet.
ScottyZ
Any takers?
Of course, you'll probably be too hung over from celebrating your big Wednesday night win....
that's the plan, visualize the victory
'were sorry to announce that the other 87 players got stuck in traffic on the 401, and we declare you the winner' .... yah!!!
