Low Limit Bonus Hunting in Vegas

Pretty sure moose can answer this - where are some of the best places for promo/bonus/money-added to play?

Looking to kill a few hours in the morning before settling in for cash sessions next week (non-tourney days). I remember Flamingo had aces cracked? Where else is a good place to play?

  • allvegaspoker.com should have details in their forum (easier to find than 2+2). I think tropicana has some good promos if I recall with the new Jamie Gold poker room.
  • Tropicana *might* have one table running.

Flamingo seems to be the hotspot. Always 8-10 tables running. AA cracked runs until 2pm. Progressive royals, BBJ and high hand runs 24hr but better to head to Ballys after 2 since the high hand payouts are the same and the Royals are much higher since they don't have AA cracked and BBJ.

Harrahs has a really low qualifier for BBJ, like Aces full cracked or something. Pays $500 with a table share too I believe.

Early morning you could do IP, which has AA and KK cracked but you might find 1-2 tables only and they only pay out the first 5 at which point the promo ends.

Mirage has some high hand promos too, where high hand of the hour pays out and runs until 8pm I think. Also I think in the morning they have AA cracked.

Mirage has some nice tourneys too.

Nobody pays more than $1/hour on the strip. Off strip you can find some promos that pay higher. Except Venetian might be paying higher on the higher limit Omaha games.

Red Rock has a shared progressive BBJ that gets over 100k a lot.

Any Harrahs property only comps .50/hr on 2-4 limit, but unlikely you are playing that. 3-6 and 1-2nl pays $1.
  • Thanks Moose. I know Aria pays $2 comps per hour and I THINK Venetian started to do that recently as well. Was just basically looking for some of these morning bonus/promo options to kill a couple of hours before grinding the 1-3/2-5 on Saturday/Sunday when we're not playing tourneys
  • If you guys can spare an afternoon, go check out Red Rock. Beautiful casino.

Been to the National Park, worth a trip as well. Might go by Red Rock before the 51s game I guess. I've never been there myself as well
  • Just remembered O'Sheas will be closing on April 30th. If anyone wants me/Brad to pick up something for their collection (chips, what not), let me know

    Craps table?
  • Honestly, I would skip all the bonus whoring and just wait for the 5/10 NL table to open up around noon at Bellagio or Venetian. Then just play really tight and wait to get your money in good. Your ev will be a lot more + than trying to make a little extra on these promos. The poker at these levels is atrocious. Bellagio seems to always have at least 3 Japanese business men on any given day playing the 5/10 game.

With all the chips hounds in the world, wouldn't they all be snapped up by now?
  • Likely.

ARIA does comp $2 and the 1-3 game was pretty soft when I played there in Jan. The 2-5 game is a much tougher game - lots of semi-pros playing tight and it's a $1k max buy-in so it plays almost like a normal 5-10 game.

Also, check out TI - they had a really good rakeback promo running in Jan, but don't know what's running now. Well run room but location sucks.
  • Didn't do any of the above. No chips at O'Sheas left.
