TORONTO ACES LEAGUE EVENT 1 Spring/summer NoLimit CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP starting april 20
TAPC 2012 Summer Championship will consist of 8 qualifying events starting Friday April 6th. And running every 2nd Friday Until Friday July 13th.
TAPC Champion’s Freeroll will be held after season end (Prize pool will consist of all re-buys and add-ons during seasonal events. Top 10 player on the point standings at end of season. Date: TBA
Register/RSVP: Register/RSVP online and pay at the door. Advanced online registration recommended. You can call 416-858-4291 and reserve your spot. Online registration will be available up to 4 hours before the event.
Registration opens at 6:00pm. Tournament starts at 7:00pm sharp. Registration is open until the end of 3rd blind level.
No-Shows: Players have up to 2 hours before the start of an event to unregister. You must do this as there maybe players on the waiting list that will take your spot. 1st no show will be meet with a warning and a deduction of 20 seasonal points from standings. 2nd no show will require player to pay 1 week in advance for any championship event. Any player with 2 no show will be removed from RSVP list and can enter if a spot opens up on event day.
Buy-In: $65 all to prize pool Unlimited Re-buy, 1 Add-on Allowed for 1st 60 mins of play ($75.00 with all options listed below). Max 50 Players
Starting Chips: 7000 (10000 with all options listed below).
Option: Players have the option of donating $10.00 to go toward costs, e.g. rent, tables, drinks, snacks, cards, audio visual equipment, website, etc. As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 3000 in playing chips.
Re-Buys: $60.00 for 6,000 chips, available until 1st break (60 mins). Player must have 1,000 or less in chips during the first 60 minutes of the tournament to re-buy. Player must re-buy before next hand is dealt.
Add-On: $30 for 5000 chips available during 1st break only
Champions’s Freeroll: All add-ons and re-buys will be pooled. Top 10 players in points and the end of the season will play for a share of the add-on and re-buy prize pool.
Point System:
Players will receive 40 Points for each event attended.
Season Champion will be determined by players best 5 finished + events attended. Ties are determined by adding the best 5 finishes and the lowest total is declared the winner.
Prize Pool: All Entries go to the prize pool.
1 to 9 Players: 1st(70%), 2nd(30%)
10 to 20 Players: 1st(60%), 2nd(30%), 3rd(10%)
20 to 30 Players: 1st(50%), 2nd(25%), 3rd(15%), 4th(10%)
30 to 40 Players: 1st(45%), 2nd(25%), 3rd(15%), 4th(10%), 5th(5%)
40 to 50 Players: 1st(45%), 2nd(25%), 3rd(15%), 4th(8%), 5th(5%), 6th(2%)
