Won't get into the details, but I wasn't completely shocked by having an asshole border guard...awaiting my new extra super work documents Friday to cross.

I had the documents I was supposed to have but the people were assholes on a power trip and decided they wanted my letter of employment to have a few details that aren't required...so here I sit waiting for a new letter from my employer.
They also asked asked why I didn't present a resume and other irrelevant items -- wtf? I have had 4 US work Visas in my life and all you are supposed to have is your degree and letter of employment, but wtf it sure was enjoyable driving to the border with my Uhaul for an hour+, then waiting in line to get back to Canada for 30 mins, then driving all the way back to Lethbridge to organize everything with my employer and finding a hotel while the women's curling is in town, etc, etc. Good thing I don't tilt.
The guy they declined after me had worked in the US on and off since 1994 on various Visas and never had a problem before either...good timing hitting the border at ahole o'clock.

Coles notes, we were 19, had a tent, chainsaw, 48 beer on the back seat..They suggested camping in Canada was a better idea than our plan to make a run for California at 3am.
