Avoiding EMT fees..

This is a subject near and dear to me.. I have been a big advocate of lower bank fees, etc since I had my first bank account as a teenager and was hit by some sort of fee that I do remember upsetting me... Yes they had banks in those days.... :D Just before someone make an ageist comment. :)

Especially for these smaller bap's that each of us are doing, shouldn't we be just keeping a running tally back and forth of who owes who what to avoid fees continuously sending back and forth. eg for my little bap, you each likely paid $1.50 to send me $20. and now I'll pay $1.50 to send $31. back Just seems like too high a rake and the only entity really making money are the banks... lol.. hello, similarity to casinos here...:bs:

Let me know how this goes.

Otherwise, I suggest we all open ING accounts :)

ING is the way to go - if anyone wants to open, you can be referred and both parties can get bonus monies. I THINK it's $25 each right now *cough cough* I can refer lol

Did you just called Hobbes a valuable member? I guess maybe to the BAP community
  • hey wes, im interested in ING , TD rapes me month in month out. I know its only a few bucks here, a few bucks there, but it tilts the absolute living sweet fuck out of me to get nickled and dimed by a bank HOLDING MY HARD EARNED MONEY, and im looking for other options

Ive had an account with TD since I was a lil guy, and I'd shudder to look at the amount of money ive had to pay for bank fees, etc.... that number must be HUGEEE for comp :D

    Credit Unions >>> Banks

I just started dealing with Servous, they seem way better than TD, though still my main bank. Ya, the EMT fees suck, I like Comps suggestion or I can just tack on the $1.50 when sending Will make the smaller BAPs less desirable in some cases, although really I am looking at them as all or nothing anyway.
  • Credit Union EMT's $0.25
  • Note: you still need a real B&M bank to access your money.

Brilliant!! So there's gotta be a way to use PS as the bank since it seems everyone here has a PS account. What we need is someone to act as a banker on PS. Someone with a large enough bankroll to be able to handle the larger transfers, and who can request increases in the transfer limits if needed. Just gotta figure out how to get the money out of PS to make B&M entry fees. Any takers?
  • Problem is, if you are not playing much PS will suspend your xfer privs (I've had this done)
