Tourney...
I was playing in a $10 buy in tourney here in New Brunswick, with about 40 people playing.
I was sitting at the final table with the following,
a manaic on my left, a weak tight to the manic's left, another weak tight to the first wt's left and a loose passive to my right.
Basically, never caught too much early on, the manaic is a friend of mine who I have actually beaten pretty bad in past matches, however this evening he seems to be catching the cards when he needs them, he takes out 2 of players, leaving only him the loose passive and me, I like to think I have been playing tight aggressive, but I finished 2nd because of this hand.
I'm on the button and get KQo, I call, manaic calls, loose passive checks. flop comes Q,7,5 rainbow. I'm second stack the manaic has big stack and the loose passive has about half my stack. I move all in to try to get heads up against a weaker pair or a wild draw. Both call, I say to myself "oh shit". maniac turns over 34o and loose passive moves all in with A7o, fourth street is a 5, i have two pair q's and 5's out in head, river is a six, and manaic makes his straight to win the tourney.
Any of you object to the way I played this hand?
