Looks like it might be a British production, in which case I would give it a little more lee-way. Also, it looks like poker is incidental to what is really going on in the film.
You want a decent Brit-flick, look up the Croupier, with Clive Owen. Tidy little film, with some great performances. Very under-rated.

Yeah, 5 is good for lower denom chips, but I'd go with stacks of 1-2 for anything worth 500 or more. Why complicate the math?
