Each player will receive 1000 chips for their $10 buyin. You are eliminated from the tourney when you lose all your chips. The tourney will not stop, except for short breaks, until one player holds all the chips. That player will be declared the 1st place finisher. The last player eliminated will be the 2nd place finisher, the second last player eliminated will be the 3rd place finisher, etc..
During the first four levels of the tourney you may 'rebuy' into the tourney (pay another $10 and receive another 1000 chips) if you fall to 250 chips or less. You must rebuy as soon as you bust out and rejoin the tournament. Rebuys are only allowed up til the end of the first break.
Late players: If you know you're going to be late, please phone and a seat and chips will be set out for you and you will post blinds and fold until you arrive. Players that are late that haven't let me know will give up their seat to the next player on the waiting list.
The tournament will last approximately 4 hours. Seating is limited to 24 players. (8 max tables) Please reserve your seat in advance!!
Blind schedule, chip values, rules, etc, etc, will be posted at my place, or you may msg me for specifics.

The day after the tournament is by b-day, so I'm going to seed the bounty with $10. Anyone wanting to contribute a couple bucks to the pot is welcome to. The player that knocks me out of the tournment (the re-buy doesn't count) gets the bounty.
If I happen to win the thing, then birthboy keeps the pot.
COME AND GET ME!!

I'd be in on that.... though I get this sneaking suspiscion you'll get the pocket suited slick again.

Yea yea...
Insert stock "I got rivered" whine here.
There's always next time
Mark
First hand of the tournament I pick up 88 on the button, everyone folds to me. I raise 3x the big and of course Zithal in the small calls me. Flop comes down K 10 4 rainbow. I bet out 80, quick call from Zithal. Wow, he really loves this flop...he wants to marry it. Turn 9, he checks and I do the same. River 7 He bets out and I fold. "This isn't over yet Zithal, it's not over!".
So, as stated above I am playing like a maniac in the re-buy period. Calling sizeable bets with anything suited and chasing my gutshots/flushes and pair draws, for some reason I don't win a single hand and have to re-buy.
After the re-buy period I tighten up, actually folded a pair UTG+2 when I wasn't looking at a raise (pair of measily 3's, whoopdeedoo). I win my first pot with 66 when I raise on the button basically trying to steal the blinds. I get one caller, one overcard on the flop and I bet out.. Shopsy folds. I feel more comfortable now.
Key hand now...I'm up above average now and feeling better about playing garbage hands. I'm in late position and have Kd6d, I limp in and flop the second high flush. Only one person playing with me, an aggressive player in the big (the defending Bristol St. Champion!!!). He bets out 250, I sit back in my actors chair and look at my cards "I'll see one more card". Turn is a brick, no diamond, no pairing the board. He checks I check quickly. River is another brick and he bets out 600 or so, leaving him with about another 175. I put him allin and he reluctantly calls with a small pair on the board.
I'm feeling good and bad at the same time, mostly good though. Next fairly big hand: Im in the big with Qs3s and UTG raises the minimum, he gets one caller other then myself. The other caller was running over the table, hitting cards all over the place. Anyway, flop comes down Kd 9s 3h. UTG bets out 200 (he has about 350 left), Mario (other caller) thinks about it long and hard and calls. I'm not feeling any strength from these two guys so I call. Turn 5s, I bet out 350 with my bottom pair and flush draw. UTG reluctantly calls, Mario folds. UTG (shopsy) flips over AQ, River is a brick and my pair of 3's holds up.
After the second break now, one of the first hands I see is 7h5h. I'm feeling mostly good remember but I know I did not bring my A game. I call with two callers in front of me, including Mario who has a huge stack. I'm probably third or fourth in chips at this point, Mario is clearly leading. Four players in all, flop comes down Q 6 8 rainbow. Everyone checks to my liking. Turn is a 2, EP bets out 100, Mario calls and I call. River 9, EP checks and Mario bets out 1500. I'm thinking huge over-bet but at the same time remember that he has bet out huge bets before when he has had the nuts...I have about 2700 in front of me. I call and he flips over 10J...ugh...higher straight. I'm crippled.
We're down to about 12 players and I'm a short stack. I get involved in another hand vs. Mario where I chase my open-ender all the way to the river and miss it. I make a few double ups with K8s vs 99 and vs. A5s, actually eliminated both of those players with K8 (skittlepoker and Tye). I know I'm not playing well but am getting lucky. I eliminate another microstack with A7 vs. his forced all-in K3s.
Final table. I'm happy to have made it here and low and behold I am 3rd in chips with 5000 behind Mario's 7200 and Bluff'y 6900 (approxiamates). Awesome, I have Zithal to my right and his bounty money is staring me right in the face. Zithal and I are playing super tight now, he folds I fold, he folds I fold...etc. Glad I wore my tighty whitey's today, I'm gonna need em. First real hand I see is A10 in the big, everyone including Zithal folds to me. I show everyone the hand and tell them to beware of my blinds, to fear them. Gets a few chuckles...I'm not playing anything and neither is Zithal.
6 players remain, 5 get money. Folded around to Zithal who is in the SB. He calls, I look down at KJ and raise another 1000 (blinds were 300/600 I believe). He easily calls. Doesn't he remember what I told him about fearing my blinds....guess not. Flop Q 9 8, I'm thinking not bad not bad...not great, not good but not bad. Zithal goes all in for another 2400, I have maybe 3800 in front of me. "Hey Shannon, you like me don't you. I could buy you nice things. All of your friends beside you are telling you to call and then you can take me home with you.", says the money in front of me. I decide to call and crap my pants when I see Zithal flip over Q9 for top two pair. I have outs though...I have outs. Turn 10. River K. Suck outs were the name of the game tonight I guess, not vs. me though I was just getting lucky.
We're in the money and play has become super aggressive. Im UTG+2 and see the minimum raise to 1200 from Mario. I look down and see AQo, I don't like my position and even though I know I have Mario beat I fold. Bluffy, to my left raises to 2400. Dave to his left re-raises all in for another 1700 on top of the 2400. Mario goes all in and Bluffy calls. Mario A3s, Bluffy AK, Dave JJ. Flop hits a jack and Mario goes home unimproved. I wait around for the other players to eliminate themselves, I'm not getting any cards worthwhile. I can't raise because everyone will call. I wait. Dave knocks out Bluffy. Dave knocks out Tyson. I'm guaranteed second place money, plus I already have the bounty. Dave and I are all in on the first hand KQ vs my J7s. He has a 8:1 edge in chips on me. Flop comes down K 6 10 turn Q river 9...making my straight. Wow, if I could pull this off that'd be crazy. Dave was raising me everytime. I have 5K now and he is raising to 2800. I fold twice in a row with 23 and 24o...I see 105d and think now is the time, can't wait forever. He shows J2h. Neither of us hit and I go home with my 2nd place money.
Great tournament Zithal, sorry you had to go out that way but not really sorry just being polite sorry

Poor Mark...................
It breaks my heart.......NOT!!!!!!
Both losses were to me!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
In his defence, he did walk into 3 of a kind first and then got rivered on the second hand.
