Forget this.

I can't take it any more. I obviously do not have the mental toughness to play online. Every tournament is the same thing. Once, every four months, I win one, or a top three.

I play correctly, I bet and call when I am ahead. But I still cant win. No one folds any more. You can't tell if they really have a hand or not.

  • hang in there
  • Keep going, you'll get what you want.
  • DJ, looking at the time you posted this, I am going to chalk this up to fatigue. all you have to do is look at your LONG-TERM results to see if you are a winning player or not. The fact that more than a few people on this site are willing to back you financially as well, should be more proof that variance should not be something to keep you from playing. I suck at poker, and currently I am sucking harder than usual. I made a concious effort in last night's Forum tourney to play like less of a donk than usual. Result? samesame. Point is, you need to shake yourself up a little. Maybe take a bit of break from grinding SnGs so hard. Play a little $0.01/$0.02 PLO8 and blow through a couple buy-ins just having some FUN. Then, with batteries re-charged, you get back to crushing guys like me for a decent ROI.

    Stopped reading after this.

DJ, you're almost at the breakeven point of the BAP. Now is NOT the time to throw in the towel. Milo has a point about fatigue and the hours you play. Other players will/can pick up on this. Slow down.

You're a good horse. You just need to be reigned in a little bit.

This. I have to remember this as well. Wife to be says we can't get a puppy until I stop throwing temper tantrums.

They're not temper tantrums! *kicks the dirt while looking at his shoes*
