Thanks guys
Anyone else want 5%?
I'm taking 10%. Will know tomorrow if I am playing (then I can just give cash at GBH).
Ok , thanks for the heads up Vekked dont mean to offend anyone. The SC is actually only $20.00 and works out to $1.00 for 5% and with me rounding down from $64.40 it acutally works out to 60 cents. Didn't know that was the norm.
Sold out.
Not to make this anymore complicated, but the GBH rake seems to have decreased from $100 to $84. I am showing a total charge if you buy online of $1,116.52. I will EMT this morning, just PM me the amount. Thanks.
But when you pay online through pokertickets.com GBH splits the difference in what pokertickets charges
OK, surprised they would reduce their rake. Anyone else planning to play tomorrow? Wonder if it will be close to selling out? Does it start at 10am or 10:30am? pokertickets states 10:30am, whereas GBH website states 10am.
I remember a thread on here just after they moved to the new processor and the extra "rake" being charged by the processor. GBH then reduced their rake for online portion as a compromise.
Got it.
Thanks everyone follow me on tiwitter tomorrow. I will post as much as i can.
@RAM_Eh is my handle.
Rob.
Of course he does.
I played and called in before hand about this - for the record, they tell everyone to be there for a 10am "start" ... but actual cards fly at 10:30am ... a bit of mis-information to make the registration rush smoother for the staff to handle ...
Yea in the situation is very minor and obv just an honest mistake. I've just seen a lot of situations where people do similar stuff on a bigger scale, such as including hotel or travel costs in their package (which in itself is arguably pretty dumb) AND calculating markup afterwards. So buyers end up paying the person $125 per night to stay in a $100 per night room... makes no sense.
IF you're deciding to add in some additional costs (in this case the payment method fee) in your package, you should add it separately from the amount you're marking up.
