    Not saying that it would have helped you here, but:

    One thing I usually do whenever I get to a new table is mark each Russian player with a red circle, because pretty well without fail I find them to be:

    - Ultra Loose
    - Ultra Aggressive
    - Will call down with anything (HATE to think they could be bluffed)

    So

    - Let them be the aggressor when you have a large hand
    - Definitely value bet any river where you have a hand

    Sometimes I will take a player out of the red circle, but I find that player to be the exception - otherwise it seems to be very profitable to know how they will play most situations.
