Comments

  • so rebuys are not in the prize pool?
  • No the unlimited $20 rebuys until break and the optional $20 or $40 top ups at break all go to local charities and initiatives. Our January 28th tournament had 43 entrants and the prizing was as follows:

    1st prize - $756.80
    2nd prize - $464.40
    3rd prize - $292.40
    4th prize - $206.40

Most entrants plan on at least one $20 rebuy and the $40 top up, but it does vary.
  • can we get a tax receipt for the rebuys?
  • At this time we don't give a tax receipt.
  • I've played in many charity type games and have never seen a tax receipt issued for rebuys/addons. Not sure why, other than I've known many accountants for charities and they're always grumbling about being overworked.
