    How can a music lover like yourself not know, even tangentially, who Don Cornelius was? It's Soul Train, fer Chrissakes. Literally every other "modern" music show ripped off Soul Train, in one form or another. Just like Don Cornelius ripped off Dick Clark.

    Even I watched Soul Train . . .
