Feb 8th Woodbridge report...
Let me start by saying wassup to All_aces and Gamblor,it was good to meet u guys.
Finished 5th last night.Had 3 oppurtunities to finish in the money when 2 short stacked players both doubled up back 2 back when they were all-in and caught their hands to stay in.I think i played preety good for the most part, maybe a mistake at the final table...
1st to act i get 77,player on left is very aggressive raising to 15-20 k almost evry hand ,when flop comes he pushes all-in,very tough player hard to get reads cause he only showed his cards when he lost and it wasnt very often.Anyways blinds were 3k-6k i had about 18k.I push all-in in hopes AP(aggressive player)will lay down and give the blinds a chance to call me.No such luck.He comes over the top al in pushes blinds out.AP has AJo
He hit his A on the flop to take me out.It was around 2am when i finally busted out just wondering if 77 was the right move there?5th place got his money back(500$)so my thinking was if i,m going to make a move to win it it,s going to be now.
I felt good with my move at the end even tho i didnt work out.
What do you guys think? should i have waited?3rd place i think got 1k with 3k to 2nd and 7500 to first?
All comments welcome....Thx Yayiwin

As you know, I busted out 11th (right before the final table) when I had to play ATo for all of my chips and lost to AJ. Oh well.
I only have one complaint about last night: when we were down to 6 players on one table, and 5 on the other, hand-for-hand (this went on forever) the tournament director sort of polled the players to see if they wanted an eleven- or ten-handed final table. Of course, the big stacks said 'ten-handed', so the blinds could continue to kill the shortstacks in the shorthanded 2-table format.
While I have no problem with shorthanded play in general--or with the fact that big stacks get the privilege of being able to steal a lot of blinds--I think the decision should be made before the tournament begins, by the TD, as to whether the final table is going to be ten- or eleven-handed.
Other than that, another quality Woodbridge tournament. Nice to meet you Yayiwin!
so while being hand for hand helps it really does result in different play on the relative tables, and unnessarily since busting out in any of those relative positions all have no payout. Now if you're in a format were payouts only happen to the final 10 or 11 then it's different i think
