Did Standup Comedy for the 1st time tonight....

I was a nervous wreck!!! but... I made it!! I performed at Yuk Yuk's in vancouver for amatuer night in front of a full house (excuse the pun). I was the only first time comic there and it was crazy to say the least, im pretty happy that I made it and didnt bomb and actually got some laughs!! Look for me, I will be starting to do comedy much more around vancouver at any club I can get into, or that will let amatuers go up!

Anyway, i was just happy i made it so i thought i'd post!!

dong something liek that really takes guts man.

the first time i played poker for money i was a nervous wreck. i was shaking like crazy. but the more i played the calmer i got. same with performing music in front of people, youget used to it the more you do it, and the more you do it the more confidence you get.

keep at it anton, you'll get alot more comfortable up there. and it wont take long, you'll see

sure, ill post next time im gonna go up, mind you, it is pretty vulgar. I could post some of the material but im not sure if it would be as funny as in front of a crowd....one for example was about how george bush heard there was a tsunami heading for the US and how al qeuda is behind it and in a george bush voice said how they would attack the tsunami with everything they had, and that special sharks were collaberating with al queda for the attacks and the US had credible information from spy fish in the ocean. And how he would shoot every last missle into the wave and stop the "attack"....thats one of my not so vulgar ones...but everything is much better in front of a crowd, so im not sure what you think, but im alwasy working on stuff!!

hmmm, poker jokes..maybe i havent thought of any yet, I could turn it around and make it sound really dumb...like "Im gonna bet you all this money in my hand that you dont have a peice of cardboard thats red!"..then the other guy goes..." I dont know?!, you will have to put your money into this pool of money where everyone else wants to find out the same thing then I will show you if i have a black peice of cardboard!!"...lol i have no idea.. ill let you know if i come up with anything mildly amusing..

I was actually trying to do a quick comparison to poker when i first hit the stage, but my mind hit blanks on that one lol

ive never heard any doug stanhop....im definately not on the cosby side...im pretty vulagr and sick....my idol is Robert Schimmel, if you can find anything on him, he's hilarious, I would say hand down he im ny fave comedian in the world. (hes very sick and vulgar too!)

They both never want you to make the flush, unless they can profit from it.

And they usually won't come anywhere near you when you have a full house.
