What's you equity for 1/2 pot on the turn given he obviously is holding A5? Is the 22% the 1/2 pot equity or total equity (I'm at work and exhausted so I'm not thinking at all)? Not sure I like getting it in on the turn drawing to 1/2 the pot,
  • but he is only drawing to half the pot if a 5,6,7,8 hits the river. And the five would give him the low as well.
  • that's what drawing means?
  • Pele is right, but then the other side is, sometimes not everyone has the low side to play either, sometimes when you have the nuts hope for the best....you might be after only half the pot but then sometimes thats enough too.

"What the book says" Dont ever play for only half the pot, in case you chop your half then you really lost a lot instead, but when going after the high with the nuts you have a better idea where you stand and you hope to suck out the river instead

    not really obvious, just likely

i think some players will show a naked A6, some A26x hands, weird sets or big draws trying to maximize their FE with 1 pot sized bet left between hero and villain

    Don't think so much
