Don't Philli us
GTA.This was the same tournament that you were in,as i was sitting at the same table with you you until you went out in what? 70th or so?
I know that shit happens. And i know that it is quite often. I'm telling you ive been playing all week as ive had the week off and it has been non-stop all fkn week.Donks reraising me with fkn 22 and catching a deuce on the river against my AA. I give you guys credit.I dont know how you do it.Win i mean.Ive been reading all the threads non stop in here, downloaded and have been using pokertracker3. I know what to look for when using it,but still aint helping with the donkbets and my incredibly brutal flops, turns and river burns.Just sayin.....
aha! The truth comes out:D, he went out in 70th, so he must be a losing player:rolleyes2:
um, no

Are you Phillileveling?
Um,would have doubled up? When you keep losing ,yeah it is something to whine about
What about all the hands i played. Obviously hung around long enuff to get a hand worth playing. Was up to 3000 at one point. As per normal, was whittling away to nothing until i got fucked.Would just be nice to make the money once in a while.Hard to understand? Did i not post in the right forum? Wtf
solid gold.
Is there something about glass and an avoidance of a tapping sound going on here?
are you telling me? i played 4k games last month^-^
there is soooo much more to learning this game, whats important for now is to find ways to realize that. Find ways to make yourself realize how little you know about poker. It's not me telling you ...its a mindset.
In this sense, knowing what to look for is directly correlated to roi. I suspect your roi says that you don't know what to look for And poker tracker software is prob the least of your concerns its not gonna decide if you are a winning player or not..
bottom line is....POST HAND HISTORIES but in the strat section (bad beats are fine to but you don't learn that way)...
the part that sucks though, is as new players we don't know what hands to post. So post different situations and random hands sometimes where you think you played correctly but you just want to see.
That's gold, Jerry! Gold! - YouTube
looking forward to your strat posts!
Fact is, even with more chips, this hand more than likely would have played itself. Try this. Let's say instead of 800 chips, you have 8000. Same hand. Same flop. What do you do? Are you checking to try get someone interested in stabbing at it? Betting 1/2 the pot? Overbetting the pot because of the possible flush draw?
When you're short like you were, that's exactly the flop you need, just not the runner runner result you were looking for.
The bigger question is Cerebus's post above. How did you get from 3000 to 800?? Would you have even played the hand if you had 8000 chips in front of you?? To me it looks like you wait for premiums for too long and get chipped down, but I have no idea how you went from a big stack on smaller levels to <5bb?
