Kinda late to this party, but definitely agree with all posters that you have to make this call and without much hesitation. You really can't ever fold here.
You made a comment in your OP saying that "sometimes you feel like a donkey". You cannot feel that way; you played both of these hands very well. The first one is variance/bad beat; the second a cooler where you have to make the call.
