How Many Chips Do You Own?

just curious how many chips people own.
i'm also wondering what types (or how many different types) people have, but one poll at a time...

(btw, i'm refering to chips people have for use in home games, not chip collections from various casinos)

I have 800 of the 11.5g dice set available at pokerstore.ca.

100 white
100 red
200 green
200 blue
100 black
100 purple

I have 1100 dice striped 11.5 gram, 300 red, 200 white, 200 black, 200 blue, 200 green. Purchased 1000 on Ebay, purchased 100 from pokerstore.ca.

I just recently bought 500 11.5g Dice chips. 200 white, 150 red, 100 green, 50 black (with, might I add, the nice aluminum case!).

I was only counting the "clay" chips. I have way more if you count the various sets of thin plastic chips. I actually have multiple 'retro' carousels of plastic poker chips. Some of them are prtty neat. i also have a set of 100 of ACTUAL clay chips.(very old). Plus various pressed paper chips.

I won an auction at EBay for a set of 300 11.5g suited clay chips last week. They should get here this week or early next week.

For a total count of 1400, all of them clay of course.

I had 1000 but I just bought another 2k of chips (from viptrades.com) to help a friend out with a poker fundraiser he is doing.

Breakdown is

200 White
550 Red
550 Blue
450 Orange -- Edit
100 Green
600 Black
200 Pink
150 Purple
100 Yellow

I know that they are not as nice as the 11.5 gram clay one but I think they are just fine for my home tourneys.

p.s. I have just the 300 free chips from the Canadian program, and plan to increase that to 1200 over the coming months for some serious home poker tournaments.

The Fundraiser (for his theatre company) is in Toronto. I don't have the exact date yet because the hall is not rented. I will post the details. We are aim for a 2000 min prize pool with top 10 paid and 50 -70 players. We hope.

It will be a 50/50 split about (50% Prize pool/50% Theatre Company)

I first got a set of clay composite chips and had the values gold embossed on one side and my initials embossed on the other. I then bought a set of 11.5g suited chips with the aluminum case. Jeremy bought me a really old travellers set made up of 150 chips with a small deck of cards in a leather case. Thanks Jer. I recently called Binions Horseshoe resort and had them send me three decks of Kems with the Horseshoe insigna. They are the actual cards used in the WSOP.
