Am I the only one out there that constantly loses at online poker? Online poker is a fkn joke all the fkn time.I love playing but it has to be rigged!! Ive played pokerstars,full tilt,doylesroom,ultimate bet,888,paradise poker,pacific poker,hollywoodpoker,partypoker,mansion poker,titan, and a few others.(Omfg, i just lost a sng at partypoker with A10c to A8s. An 8 on flop of course). I cant win.I cannot fkn win!Been playing online for about 7 yrs now.Been playing poker for about 30 yrs.Play with a bunch of people live, i do well all the time in small poker tourneys with up to 10 people.I think im pretty good. But online?..Gimme a fkn breakin! I am patient as hell. I sit and wait for decent cards.Fold,fold,fold,fold,fold,fold. Garbage cards all the time.Never catch flops.Ak or Aq might as well be 2,3 or 2,5.I never catch an A on flop.If i go in with 10's or q's or k's against an ace i always lose.Well most of the time anyway.Now dont get me wrong,i have won 4 or 5 tourneys worth between $200 and $400. But when that happens,i get brutal cards for weeks and major bad beats until all the money has been given back to the site. I dont get stupid either when i do win.I still just play $2,3,5,6, and the odd $11 tourneys. But i know no matter what i play,the site wants it back.So i take a bit of a break for a week or so. Go back and get the same garbage. PLaying partypoker right now.Came in 2nd in a $6 tourney with 200 players last week and won $200. Down to about $90 in my account now.The other day i lost 3 times in a few hours with AK to AQ. 3 friggin times!!! I got so fed up with poker i took an 8 month layoff from it.i just recently got back into it a couple months ago.Anyway,enuff whining.I still think its rigged.I wish Mcguinty would hurry up and get some pokeroom goin when he brings the casino in.Been waiting over a year...........Might have a more honest site than any of those offshore sites.Since full tilt got busted dont you think for sure they were rigged? They were the worst for bad beats and river burns!

i get aggressive at times.When i win a few hands, i raise with K10 or 9 10 suited or A9 offsuit....whatever. I call lots of flops when the money is right, with shtty cards.You think i could catch anything? As the blinds get higher and my money starts dwindling down,i dont call or raise with 2 7 or J 5 or whatever.I wait for a decent hand.I have won 4 or 5 tourneys,lots of sng;s only to lose the money back.Think about it.Where do all these sites get the extra money to offer people 600% bonus payback and whatever when you make a deposit.From rakes? ya i doubt it....

Naw, it was in reference to me. I go off on rants about online poker every so often. The truth is, online poker is a different game than live, players are more agressive and fold less often.

I would suggest asking online players in BC and Quebec, if the beats are any less frequent with their "legit, government site". I would expect about the same, and when Ontario gets their room up and running, the beats will be no better.

Try a little experiment, take a deck of cards, deal AK and AQ, then run out a board 100 times (maybe more for statistical variance) - AQ will win about 20-25% of the hands. that's at least one in five.

You can't expect an 80% favourite to win 100% of the time.

OF COURSE I UNDERSTAND THAT. Of course i want my AK to win 100% of the time.I know it aint gonna happen,but when you lose 3 tournaments the same way in the course of 3 hours, something is fishy. Or like i said,the amount of times ive lost to some moron who calls my all in with A rag to my QQ or KK is unbelievable.i never catch aces and when im all in against someone with one i lose 80% of the time.Most of the time on the river. So how do you explain the winning players ? There are quite a few on this site, one is even ranked in the top .1% of all online tournament players on PokerStars, oh and he wins live events too. Is he just luckier than the rest of us ?

I really think we just need to create a pat response explaining variance, probability, the math in general, the psychology of poker, the psychology of losing, etc.

Explain it in higher level terms, bring it down to mid level terms and finally bring it down to lower level terms that everyone can understand.

Not saying I will understand the higher level math, all of the psychology, theory, etc. so I'm not bragging in any way shape or form.

And provide this information to all posting "rigged" threads on here. Obviously, there will be those who just simply won't/don't want to understand, but at least maybe we'd create a sifter to weed out the bigger rocks in the mix and whittle the numbers down a bit.

PS. Love the Judas Priest thing on your Avatar. "Some heads are gonna roll" and "Love bites" are two of my fave songs. But I'm kinda old school.
