Question on Chip stack in a MTT

Hello, first post from a new member.

I usually only play cash or small tournaments. I bought in for the 550 bounty at BCPC 2011.

I searched and searched and couldnt find the answer to this question.

Starting chip stack is 7500 with 30min blinds and they stop play at level 14 and continue for day 2.

A) What is the average chip stack that people who make it to day 2 will have based on say 176 players on each "day 1"?

B) What would be a good amount of chips to end up with to be comfortable in day2 early stages?

    [FONT=&quot]it is impossible for one to know what the average chip stack on day 2 will be because there are so many factors involved in that.

    a "good" amount of chips to begin day 2 would probably be at least 40 big blinds, but obviously more is better.
