new chips

hi there ah
i am buying a new set of chips and was wanting a suggestions. i was narrowed it down to four different styles all are 14g chips they are the ying yang , king's casino , black diamond , eclipse
any thoughts or experiences

    Actually, should add that a 14g chip is not the best nor is it casino quality. You're better off getting 10g Dunes or Pharaohs imho. I'm sure Moose will fill you in, but clicking the link above will open new doors for your decision making.

    Personally I'm not a fan of 14g chips. After a few hours they feel heavier than normal.

    Go through the Buy & Sell section. Their are quite a few threads for chip purchases.

    14g chips are heavy crap which you will soon hate. Real casino chips are actually 8-10g.

    thank you for all the input i am very bugget controlled in what i buy but may rethink i have found a dunes set for what i think to be a good price

    Those are great chips. Make sure to get the compression moulded NOT the injection mould. Slightly more in price, but well worth the extra money.

    i realize the mechanical difference between compression and injection but what difference does it make in the chip

    I bought the injection moulded Desert Palms (basically the sister chip to the Dumes) They're basically 'nice' plastic chips.

    The moulded are (I believe) clay chips. They have much nicer feel and sound to them. Also the colour scheme are nicer.
