DVD Help
Hey all.
I have a question regarding downloading a DVD.
I am downloading a copy of Phil Hellmuths Million Dollar Poker secrets and the file comes in a .NTSC-4HM format. Do I need to do anything with this file once it is completed? Can I play it with windows media player or do I need to burn it to a DVD first.
It is a big file - 3.79Gb. My computer has been working for 4 days now and I figure it still needs 3-4 more for the torrent to complete.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob.

to my imagination i believe its an image as joe said, but i also gather youd need a dvd burner to write it...
as i dont have one, i decided to abort mission and find some tells on my own
NTSC = North American Display Format for TVs. Most Euro and Asian Countries use PAL.
4HM = The piracy group that released the DVD.
The actual files should be in .VOB files or a .IMG file. If they are .VOB files, you need to go to Windows Media Player and open the files. If it is a .IMG file then you either need to burn it first or you can use a program like DaemonTools or Alcohol to mount the image. What this does is make the file show up as a DVD in a imaginary drive. Hope that helps.
