Well, as most of you know, Pudge's win earned me a good size chunk of coin, so I've been contemplating on a new chip purchase. Had my eye on some LaPaulson Noirs, but my financial institution screwed me and put a hold on the BAP bankdraft I received and they got away from me. Their STILL my dream set to own someday...sigh
So I was considering two options...customs or GrandCard Room's. Customs would have been nice, but I'm not done building the set in my own mind yet and didn't want to rush it, so I decided on the GCR's
I've only ever played with these chips once in the past, at one of Moose's weekend games, and thought they were VERY nice!!
The colours are vibrant! You almost need sunglasses when you stack them up. The canary yellow and burnt orange simply glow.
Even the T25 Green and T100 Blacks are nice. But the T500 Blue is just stunning.
I could have gotten them with a gold or silver hotstamp, but after viewing several pics in both, I chose the silver. I feel it makes the chips POP more.
Also, you can switch the T1000 and T5000 if you like. I believe Moose's set is T1000 Canary Yellow and T5000 Burnt Orange.
This is a tournament set of 750 chips in total, which I will use for satellite games I host or smaller field deepstacks. This is the starting stack for a 20,000 tourney if I chose to host one that deep.

Need to make another run to Charlie's to pick up another birdcage and some Paulson racks, and the ones I have aren't Paulson and don't fit nicely, so for now they're sitting in their boxes they came in until I get out there.
The difference is I won't ask you for your credit card information. ^-^
