Given FTP's collapse, I only have about a hundo online, and I signed into a tourney that was $5 buy in, +2 $5 rebuys (if under 1,000,000) and one $5 add-on. I clearly bought in for the max, and then did the add on. Here's how my run-bad kicked in (note - run-bad can be confirmed by roommate, and these hands are back to back, and in the span of 5 minutes). is this thread about actively discouraging the guy from playing online poker again or for discouraging the guy from venting his experiences again?
I know how I played them, and liked my play in each (there's not just the HH at play there). I posted mostly just as a "Wow, did I ever get a series of fucked" and I'd guess bragging that I"m not doomsday prophesising.

Sure lots of players raise with 99, TT, JJ or AK in the BB, but chances are that raise in the BB will be put all-in by you or the next guy.
His call on the flop to your bet probably had you discounting those hands he repped on the turn, except if he was trapping with J's and didn't want you to hit your str8 on the river.
I think his acting was good and he got lucky.
Last hand, SB vs BB, Snyder says raise if the SB doesn't even without looking at your cards. You just checked. I wouldn't have called an all-in on the flop with just top pair with both str8 and flush draws on the board even if I was drawing to the nut str8.
