you have aces....and it is NOT the bubble....
  • Jamarama for me. 1700 in the pot...over 20% of our stack..

    but I am a known spewtard. ;)
  • How many players left? I don't hate a fold with like 8+ tables left, I think it's optimal if villain is calling a decent range
  • 37 players left, 36 get paid. I'm prob in 27-30th place.

you might want to redo that math ^^'

I probably still fold, the value of the chips you gain here needs to be greater than the value of your almost guaranteed itm finish, I havn't done the math but I don't really see that happening. BvB shoves are marginal enough as it is

i was thinking bigger field as far as the bubble situation but i still think i push and don't do that math....man i gotta start doing the math.

    ?

I think I fold on the direct bubble. I feel like ICM would dictate that given how close this is, but I'm no ICM wiz.

do you fold if there bubbles is like 200 people left?

    hmm, good Q, probably not
  • What if u were bb what do u think u call with?

do you fold if your 12 tabling? do you know when the money bubble is?
  • I mean't that bluffing BvB is marginal with this stack. If BB is bad he'll call like 20-25% so our net worth will be like

    (7x85+8295+700) x 0,75 +
    (2x8295+6x85) x 0,25 x 0,35 =
    8752

so we gain like 3/4 BB, normally a big edge but on the bubble it's meh, ICM diaster

    I haven't folded my SB with <20BB since the 80s. I'm 24.
  • lol, did a bunch more math, bluffing bvb isn't marginal, we're talking way bigger edges than i ever imagined if I'm doing this right

apparently shoving 27o is quite profitable vs a 25% calling range with this stack

You don't fold 19BB, in the SB with a raise, re-raise in front of you when your sitting with 8,3 off?? I bow to thee sir.. :)

Ah ha... so that's the game is it? ;)

    haha..ok, almost 20%

BB dependent of course, but on the bubble...he is likely to be tightening up his calling range vs a stack of this size?
