Live - Florida State Poker Championship

after hearing from a few locals, I've decided to go to Florida to play a bunch of tournaments (Floridians being Bad At Poker and WSOP running at same time makes for some great fields!) and would like to know if any of you are interested in buying pieces of a package I've come up with with tournaments, sng satellites, and cash games. for any games I don't play the money will be returned.

I think a bunch of you know me well enough to gauge my trustworthiness and my game. My stars name is saccwing and my ftp (is/was?) sapdk if you want to sharkscope or whatever.

these are the tournaments I'm playing:

July 7-10 Noon No Limit Hold’em Day 1ABC Re-entry $330 $150,000
July 11 Monday Noon Limit Omaha 8 or Better $230 $20,000
July 12 Tuesday Noon No Limit Hold’em $330 $30,000
July 18 Monday Noon Pot Limit Omaha W/$200 Re-buys $200 $20,000
July 19 Tuesday Noon No Limit Hold’em Re-entry $330 $30,000
July 20 Wednesday Noon No Limit Hold’em $200 W/ $100 Re-buys $20,000

for the rebuys, I'll have 2 rebuys and an addon available. I'll only play one day of the re-entry tournaments unless people want otherwise, making it $2520 in tournament action. edit: there is a $20 dealer toke for 2k in chips for all the tournaments, so it winds up being $2640.

If seats are transferrable (and they run) I'll be playing sng satellites. "The buy-ins will be $75 for the $330 event, $120 for a $550 seat, $235 for a $1100 seat, and $760 for the 6 Max Tournament." I'll try to play 3 235s and 5 120s for $1305 there.

for cash, there is a regular 5/5 PLO game running there. I'd probably rather have a bunch of short buys than a couple full stacks but I've heard it is 100bb min. I'll take $1000 for this game.

Comments

  • for now, this is just an interest check. there will also be some markup just to help cover some costs, probably 15% but not firm. would also consider and appreciate others' input on this package.
  • Cash games and satellites are impossible to track from a buyers standpoint. Take those out of the package and you may get some interest.

Doubt you'll get much interest with the package as is.
  • thanks. I think putting them in separate packages of tournaments and cash/sng is the way to go then. here is a schedule with the structures: http://pompano-park.isleofcapricasinos.com/uploadedFiles/pompano-parkisleofcapricasinoscom/Images/Poker/Florida.State.Poker.Championship.Schedule.pdf
  • If you're just running the tourneys, you need to show the schedule you plan on playing, b/i's, markup (if any), and total them up. And then break down the percentages for purchasing.

Like Wetts said, probly won't get much interest in Cash (especially with only 1k for 5/5 PLO) or SNG's.....unless the investor knows u personally, as it's too hard to track.

Also doesn't hurt to link your OPR for Stars and FTP.

I'm off to Vegas today, so I won't be able to buy any for this one.......goodluck, look forward to a TR from Florida.
  • not going, i'll keep all that in mind for next time. thanks
