  • As played you have to call... He may put you on a much weaker hand as you didn't define it pre. He could easily have 2 pr and think you are on AQ, AJ, with the Ad, etc... call and feel sick when he shows you the flush.
  • I re-raise pre first off. bet probably 100 on the flop...and yeah, I call the river, he is often on Ax or as comp said 2 pair (good chance of ak here..). If he flopped the flush..so be it.
  • 240 pre, 110 flop, 210 turn (turn 3-bet size is good though), cram river. Really sucks now that you bet that size, I feel like you're beat a lot but you're getting such good odds that he only has to be shoving worse a small amount of the time... sigh/call or hero fold, idk
  • so what did you do?

    240 pre

I think i just didn't want to fold out any weakish hands...although i know his range is strong...im prob check raising any non ace and non king high flops kinda thing....because i didn't have any hands with villain i didn't want it to be obvious...

but for sure this is where i suspected any problem would be.

  • Oh damn, totally misread this hand. C/r the flop, don't donk bet, donk betting would be better vs. like a button raise if you somehow got to this flop with KK, but an EP raise will have strong enough hands that he'll c-bet very frequently, especially with anything with equity. Call river 100% after you take a donk-betting line, people spazz so hard when you take weird lines that you can't muck the literal best hand you ever have here.

ya i was fully expecting my donk to induce a raise. but i don't check raise enough for value and do need to think about what position guys are likely to cbet from a little more. i think im surely calling the river but was curious about how well i got there
