  • i wouldn't make a play here...its too pot comitting i think...so i would shove though if i was going to ....i think if you three bet you get flatted with most of the reasonable 3bet sizes....but if you think his range is huge and he will fold alot id do it with qjo.....
  • I don't really like it either. 3 bet folding with 30 BB's shouldn't happen too often and his iso is huge. If you HAVE to make I play I suppose you need to leave yourself room to fold so make it around 4k

Also, why does it look like player seats are scrambled, can't tell who's sitting where at all
  • Probably wrong but I'd fold, wait for a better spot.

Yeah its hard to read, stupid Party HH. I"m in the BB, 7 handed. rzucco is on the button.

Next hand the guy with 205 chips is in the BB.

If i'm rzucco, i'm raising there with any 2, even more so with that limper.
  • I guess I get where you're coming from but even though you would open wide here you need to very confident villain is to, you also need to be confident villain doesn't know that you know how wide he is

If he is opening that wide however I guess a shove would be in order since he's folding almost his entire range but for me that's too big an if and I probably just fold and take the free money

Edit: One cool way of looking at spots where you have a read that villain is opening superwide is that the wider he's opening the more his raise becomes dead money and the more you can just add it to the pot, pretent he's in the "new" BB and shove whatever M you normally would with the new potsize if not wider still. If you can apply something like that to control a limper and a large iso then I'm never gonna take that away from you for that move, you're crushing your opposition
  • Seems like a pretty bad spot to make a move, I think it being the bubble/someone being forced all in next hand should make us less likely to get in a big hand vs. someone who covers us. I don't think that just because you would raise ATC in this spot that it's necessarily a great spot to pull a move, since your range in a given spot says nothing about the range of the villain in this spot. It's usually a mistake to project your ranges onto the people you're playing against.
