  • I fold this pre bc of your stack size. If I had 30+bbs and opened this then most of the time I'd be checking back this flop for pot control. But as played with ~20bbs to start the hand, I think we're just looking to bet/call it off once we flop an ace.

    yes i agree ....this was table dynamics not mentioned in hh....i expect enough folds here is all ...i rarely raise a hand like a7o like this. its just i have an awkward stack size and need a few extra chips for the next few hands so i don't blind down to a shove stack on the next orbit....

    if i dont' gain chips here, im at an awkard shove stack size with hands like aj at 77 88
  • I bet here vs. BB, checking isn't bad but I think it's better to check back here if villain's range is tighter and there isn't as many hands you can get value from, but he should have a fair amount of hands that he's defending that will put in some money here imo.
