PS: Guys what do you think of some of the thumbnails and pics?
Using for a couple of reasons; a) it's a "new" site, so spending money on high end photos is out of the question, but b) I find that everywhere else is using the same pictures, so why not try to be a bit original. Just wondering if anyone is paying attention to how they tie in, a think a few worked really well, but maybe thats just my own perception.
Darus Suharto from Toronto is still in the M/E. He was one of the November 9 in 2008 and finished in 6th place. He has 425k and is in 108th position going into today. For some reason the Canadian flag is missing beside his name.
Today will catch that up. We couldn't see anything from chip counts and beginning of Day reports, that is already almost a day old. Been doing these around suppertime so that they are as realtime as possible. Plus, writing on another site as well and want them to be different, so have about a half day lag in between.
Will be sure to plug those in today's and thanks for keeping informed, it really does make it much easier
by now most of you will know what went down at WSOP from last post, but still like to introduce Jenika as newest author on PokerNews.ca. She has written in both Poker Pro Canada and Canadian Poker Player Magazine
She is from BC, plays a lot of the events in the west, hit the Montreal Open and also loves to report on the game. She took over updates while I was on holidays and will be posting regular pieces going forward.
