Actually I would have put him on JJ or 10,10, not wanting to see a flop. AK likely a bet of 4700-5300.^-^

i agree but i also say ak aq maybe ajs and kqs....but more importantly he capped his range and rarely shows up with qq+....with qq+ we have to fold since theres obv no fold equity but with a capped range and the possiblity of a funky hand or two in his range i think we can ship 30 big blind and feel good about this race....

yup but if i he has qq+ in his range you have to fold...most people shove this anyways but you really need the bet sizing tell

From just your description I can't range him so I would go with my standard range sizing at a new table... Big bets, as this one was, means mid pairs, 2.5-3 bb's means 2 paint... However mid pairs includes 10's and J's so we could be behind or racing with paint. Hopefully no one I play with is reading this... Keep in mind all reads and knowledge of ones opponent override above.

i agree i the usual circumstances which would lean towards a fold...but this bet is all about what hands he would try to size me out of the pot with because he wants to actually get it in with one of the blinds....normally i agree but under the circumstanes here with my stack size i think he fast plays aq and ak to try and keep me out....

i think, but your read on the betzing is close to how i look at it too i think with out the different stack sizes in play....
