about 40-50 players maybe less...

whats the difference between playing online mtts and this blinds structure/payout struture...final table is gonna all get paid i guess....

how long should the game last about and is the regular pace or more accelerated?

starting stack is 12000 or so plus 4000 add on....

    If you have 50 players and all take the add-on I would think this would end around level 18 +/- 1. Pretty normal live structure, will seem slow to a mostly online player though... Don't get impatient, best advice I can give you.
    Better get good at live if online goes away...

    Basically it will end when the BB = 1/60 of the total chips in play.. +/- level or so.

    so 50 players x 16000 chips (highest amount with everyone adding on (divided by) 60 = blinds at 13k?

    Heeyyyy....I was told a 40 player, 15k start stack when I did that structure...and rebuys/addon.. So, I estimated a 18-20 level finish...but I think it will likely be sooner. I know these players....lol


    yep..patience Jedi warrior, there are going to be lots of good spots with this crew..bet sizing will be horrible...calling stations abundant...oh, wait...I am describing most live tournies aren't I?

    I usually estimate the finish when BB=start stack...+/- a level depending on final table and how nitty they are.


    With this game, I figured 20k avg. start stacks after all is said and done with rebuys and add ons. Just used the poker soup calc. plugged in 7 hours.

    no it wasn't a rebuy......sir lemme tell you your money was put all in on a 90% to my favour one card to come....i could not get it in better (well see next line).....16000 chips at 50/100 what can you do?

    as for the 2nd tourney....ya i got 2 outed for half my stack on the river again...screw live poker...:bs:

    Live MTT is so brutal.....if that happens online, a quick toss of the mouse against freshly painted wall, hammerfist to the desk, and on to the next tourney.....live = smile, say nice hand, go to the bar, get smashed and wait 24+hrs until the next one.

    lol ya well i played another live one later that night and got 2 outed on the river for like 80%+ of my stack. this one i called the river bet though...but my god what an unlucky day that was.
