hey guys i just booked my flight for the wsop from june 9-19. i plan on playing atleast two events both are 1500 buy ins. im just wondering what is the deadline for these to pay? im pretty sure they are not capped so im wondering if i can pay once i get there? im just afraid if i wait the events might get sold out and i really don't want to use my credit card to pay over the phone or whatever. will i be safe if i wait till i get there and buy in person or will it be too late by then?

    Here is the link about pre-registering for wsop events.. 1k and 1.5K events do sometimes sellout so preregistration is a good idea. You can use bank drafts etc, no need to use credit card if you don't want.

    Just wire the money, I wouldn't wait until the last minute. I think the deadline is 2 weeks before the event to pre-reg. If you do wire make sure you wire an extra $15 I believe to cover their wire costs.

    Might be best to call the casino. Must have a 1 800 number. Just to make sure. As long as they don't work for Fallsview you should not have any problem...:D

    Best way is to mail Money Order and print their pre-registration form for the events you want to play

    pre-registration closes 2 weeks before and it will take about a week to 10 days by mail for it to arrive.

    I have heard of way to many problem with a wire transfer.

    Don't bother calling as you cannot pre-register this way.

    The $1500 events are usually capped at 2700 players and the ones on the weekends that start on Saturday will pretty much sell out come tournament day.

    I have gone to the WSOP every year since 2007 and I have always mailed a money order and have had no problems at all.
