Sunday Storm? Will they make the guarantee?

So with Pokerstars renaming the Sunday 1/4 Million to the Sunday Storm the first one has a $1 000 000 guarantee which means they need 100 000 entries to not have an overlay.

I know Stars always seems to make their guarantees but this just seems ridiculous. I got a ticket through one of the 11fpp rebuy donkfests but is it even worth playing? Would it be better to wait for a different $11 tourney to use my entry.

    you are doubting that they will reach the guarantee and then questioning whether the tourney is worth playing...?

    am i missing something?

    overlay = +EV
  • It was supposed to be 2 questions
    1. Do you think they will make it?
    2. If they do is it worth playing with that many people?
  • Odds say that if you're a good player about 1 time in 20.000 you'll be very happy you played it :P

    It's worth it, but don't expect any short term results
  • $11 to win - $30,000+ I think it is definitely worth the shot. Of course the odds are long but someone is going to win it.

    I railed Lucksshadow for a while as he belongs to another forum that I'm a member of.

    His ROI is now 12521% lol
    he played on a stake and now needs to ship 40% back to his backer.
  • Great ROI opportunity but it was a huge minefield as expected. Maybe next time.
  • Did they change the structure for this one? I don't remember it being so fast. Poker is not fair when a guy who gets staked in a $10 tourney final tables it for $45k lol.
