Sorry for the short notice, I only just now got the call. Watch CBC tonight (either Newsworld and/or "The National") because there will be a segment on yours truly and hopefully they didn't cut out the bit about pokerforum.ca!

You'll see a bit of me playing online, and then the game afterward in my basement. Watch for these CPF members on your screen :)

Also, to make a long story short, there is yet another reason why I haven't been active. I WAS supposed to be married on the 28th of May, but an interesting series of events occured which has lead to the wedding date being pushed to the 22nd of THIS MONTH!!! So, yeah, I expect things to be normal-ish after that!

    Grats on the upcoming nuptuals but you've made it sound like something is afoot ...

    Possibilities:

    - You have been named in a will and will inherit millions of dollars unless you fail to be married by Jan 23.
    - It's a boy!
    - You went all in on a flush draw and she had the full house.
    - It's a girl!
    - Her father, after exiting his pickup truck and reaching for something on the rack in the back window insisted the date be moved up.

    Marriage is the best bet you can make. After my better half suggested Vegas as a trip, I shouldn't have waited 5 more years to ask her to marry me!!! And, this was way before I caught the poker bug.

    She really helps put things in perspective. Like the time I go all-in pre-flop as the chip leader against the co-chip leader and I lost with pocket aces vs. pocket twos. I recount the story in the morning, and she says "well honey,......that's why they call it gambling." Oh yeah, I forgot.

    Have fun -- it's a blast.
