Big Bluff

BLUFF #1

This doesn't happen very often so I thought I'd post a hand I won at our local game.
.50/1.00 NLH Min $100 buy in
Early position we will call ted, raises to $5 (he is a loose player but never raises preflop with AK or med. pair so I think he has AA KK QQ.) 3 callers including myself in the BB (10,8o). Flop 9c9h6c checked to ted, he bets out $15 (now I'm sure he has a big pocket pair) first guy folds second guy calls and I call. Turn brings 2d check check ted bets $25 first player calls(I put him on small flush or str8 draw this player would have raised by now with trips but he would definately play this way with a house I'll take a chance) and I raise to $50, ted calls $25 and other guy folds, river brings 6h and I go all-in for $229 ted ponders for about 6 hours while I'm starting to squirm. Finally he fold his AA face up. He begs me to show and finally I do (I wish I would'nt have now). If I'd tryed this against ted about 6 months ago he deffinately would have called me even with that scary of a board but's he's learning more and being able to make some tough (in his mind) lay downs. I also new that he was up about $125 so this call would put him in the red if he lost.

BLUFF #2

Im in middle late position and limp with 45s late position raises to $3 (pot builder) lots of callers I think about 4-5 total. Flop comes AKK (no flush). Checks to player on my right and he bets $10(I know that he will check flopped trips.....I hope) I call and all fold, we go heads up. Turn card brings a 10 (cant remember suits but no matter) he bets out $20 and I call, river brings a 10, this time he checks and I fire out $50 after some considering he folds A4o.
