Michigan Charity Poker
I was rolling through Michigan on the weekend and thought I would share my experiences at a few poker rooms I stopped at.
I stopped at several that were in the suburbs north of Detroit. All were in good neighbourhoods and seemed safe.
Sunnybrook in Sterling Heights and Snookers in Utica were the busiest and the best.
They run many small tournaments ($10-$40 dollar buy in's, some Omaha/Hold'em mix tourney) with lot's of participants.
The cash games were all 1-2 NL $200 max buy in.
The games were very, very, loose! ex. I limp UTG with A's and it goes 20 bucks and then popped to 60 bucks. I shove 250 and get two callers with A10off and QJs! These guys were not the exception at the table and most of these guys had huge wads of money.
It is quite far away from me but I will return for sure when I can.
Thought I would share as it could be quite profitable for those of you living in South Western Ontario and the drive would be under 2 hours.
best of luck,
Cheers!
