A beautiful Shove

cacecba6_2001RCABM.jpg

I watched the movie "A Beautiful mind" a few weeks ago. It struck me because I've always had a connection to math and I feel for a guy who spends his life tormented by numbers. At the end of the movie its revealed that the story was in fact based on a real life person. My mouth and stomach dropped when I realized the man was in fact John Forbes Nash, his theories have had a great impact on mine and many other poker players tournament profits. Its his math that fuels the content in this video therefore I'll dedicate this thread to him!
Also a shout out to Tony Guererra for his books and videos that help me come to this understanding. I didn't mention his unexploitable shove charts because they are his to talk about and distribute. But I will say so far I haven't found anyone explain this concept better.

This video is just the way I see it and understand it. So its certainly not necessarily gospel truth, but its purpose more than anything is to introduce the unexploitable shove to anyone who doesn't know that it exists. It talks about what it is but not which hands are unexploitable. It touches on how to find unexploitable shoves but not the finer details.

All those things come after.....

Constructive critisism is welcome, as you can hear i got a usb headset so no loud fan. The video is clearer and hopefully clear enough. My voice and ability to convey things will get better and its a hard concept to talk about but I think I explained enough to spark interest in other serious players who aren't at this point yet.

Good times thx for listening
Yoda!

  • ...and i didn't say uh and um as much but apparently i like the word so. I made a couple mistakes in the terminology but I don't think they'll effect the overall concept ;)
