    Elaborate, please?

I am on the Button, and put her on a mid-Ace, or pair (88+). When she shoved I leaned more towards the pair, and figured to have two overs. I was low on chips and the gamble seemed worth it, win or lose. Were I the chip leader, I probably just call to control the size of the pot. Honestly, I was looking at double up or quits the whole time.

    Here's the problem.

Blinds 25/50, your M value (i.e. health of your stack) is stupidly high (25). You are nowhere near needing to gambool for stacks here. Now, if you're going to just say "Well, it's just a $5 tourney / Just for fun / etc" then there's no point in hand analysis. I remember watching this hand, and was STUNNED at the call.

  • You are referring to calling the shove?

Mark basically said it. You put in about 40 bigs pre with AJoff. This is prob not a profitable play. If you stove AJo vs the range you described above youll see why.

I basically think TT is the very bottom of any competent players 4b shove here.

Id prob do it in the forum game too, but never IRL.
  • Hmmmmmm . . . thank you both.
