umm, I have her locked in my basement...
  • I hear sirens.
  • Please permaban any person actually considering wearing one of these bracelets for extreme douchebaggery.

    douchebag
An individual who has an over-inflated sense of self worth, compounded by a low level of intellegence, behaving ridiculously in front of colleagues with no sense of how moronic he appears.
  • I'd wear it, but that's because I look awesome wearing anything...

    or nothing :O
  • Just to be clear...

We're playing $10 buy ins, and winning the bracelets, and maybe $30?

  • I came up with an idea. First was to play all of the events live with anywhere from 40 to 100 $ Buy Ins.

I was hoping to get those who host games on a regular basis to host these events prior to and after WSOP.

I heard from people out west that it would not be a true CPF series unless everyone had the chance to participate. Let's move it online so everyone gets a chance to play...
I took a stab at the buy-in amounts not knowing what everyones online BR's
are like and to make it affordable. You want 100.00 buy ins for each event and maybe have 10-12 players or 10-20 and get 40-50.
I am sure we can set up a better payout for each than what Pokerstars pays out in all of their tournaments.

Bracelets are an added incentive, and will not be easy to win.

Are you dreaming? Get rid of the bracelets and you might have a chance..
  • Jeez, you people need to lighten up . . . sure the bracelets are cheezy, but this isn't the WSOP, either. How about some props to HVEE for trying to come up with an interesting series?

As for the bracelets, much like SteveK bragging on his RC MVP finish, they will become small bragging points like the icons that some of us have, or the winners fortunate enough to have WSPC rings (still remember those, Brent).

That might even be the way to go, some sort of fancy schmancy icon for the winners. No cost, no shipping expenses, and no cheeze factor.
  • I have left everything open to discussion and Thanks Milo.
Sure the bracelets may be "CHEESY" but still I think they are a nice touch.
    Something different anyway.
  • No possible way to satisfy everyone. Might as well do what you want and see how it goes.

However, not putting any moniez towards bracelets. If moniez are req'd, I'm out.
  • Not likely that this is going to fly.
Regardless of which way it goes I am still going to get flack.
Buy-ins too low - too high, I'll put a couple of bucks toward the bracelets - I won't . Rather play live, People can't play from all across Canada unless it's on line-

    AYE !

    The perils of running something...

Moose is right, propose something, make it hard and fast, and go with it. Whoever comes along, great.
