Putting players on ranges

This is why I find it so difficult to put online players on a range of hands. Showing that much strength after an EP raise should mean a monster (AA, KK), especially after a re-raise and four bet to his initial raise.

But I know the players in these things and it is difficult to give anyone credit for a hand.

  • I quote the bard: It's just numbers, man . . . just numbers
  • Serious answer is already in your OP. If you "know" what "these players" are like, as opposed to what the action "should" mean, you can illogically deduce that you are ahead of the majority of his range in this situation.

At least, that is how I would look at it.
  • i think here the tendency is to put his range on like 77+ and ak aq after seeing that...but it would be more accurate to say it is like tt+ and ak aq....plus a some funky hands or bluff......

but everytime you see this remind yourself that you can prob loosen up some....notice 88 is good here? but you prob wouldn't think of calling.....not that its really a call but definitely use the info against the feild....
